Kamil Majchrzak has already enjoyed a successful grass court season as he won his first tour-level title at the Libema Open. The Pole produced an incredible level across the week, beating top seed Felix Auger-Aliassime, former world number one Daniil Medvedev and Alex de Minuar on consecutive days. He was handed a tough draw at Queen’s a week later, as he faced second seed and 2025 finalist Jiri Lehecka, losing in two close sets. Majchrzak performed well here last year, reaching the round-of-16.
He will face Alejandro Tabilo in the first-round. Tabilo decided to compete in Mallorca, having won the event in 2024. However, his campaign was short-lived as he was defeated by Fabian Marozsan. That followed up another opening round loss at Queen’s Club to Rinky Hijikata.
Majchrzak has had the much better build-up on grass in comparison to Tabilo, and he is more than capable of causing problems in these conditions.
