Kaja Juvan vs Caty McNally prediction

Kaja Juvan qualified for the Guangzhou Open. She attempted to do the same in Osaka but lost at the second stage to Elisabetta Cocciaretto. She also picked up an ITF title, her third of the season, right at the start of the month in Samsun. She beat Nikola Bartunkova in the final. The 24-year-old is ranked just inside the top 100 of the world rankings.

Caty McNally also couldn’t get through qualifying in Osaka. Her best result on the WTA Tour was a run to the third-round of the Canadian Open. McNally has impressed on the ITF circuit, with two titles, a further final appearance and another four semi-finals.

McNally is ranked just eight places higher in the world rankings, and both are evenly matched in terms of their overall results this season. Both will be desperate for a win on the WTA Tour, and this could run into a deciding set.
