Kaitlin Quevedo vs Nadia Podoroska prediction
Nadia Podoroska booked her place in the biggest final of her career with a dominant win over Paula Badosa.
The Argentine, 29, claimed a 6-3 6-4 victory over the second seed to set up a showdown for the title with another Spaniard in the shape of Kaitlin Quevedo.
The seventh seed held off fourth seed Anna Blinkova to clinch a 6-4 2-6 6-4 success.
This WTA 250 event will also be the largest final of the 20-year-old’s career and with no previous head-to-head, this may well come down to who handles the occasion best.
Both players have impressed over the past week, but given the way Podoroska held off heavy favourite, Badosa, it’s hard to bet against the Argentine looking to make a statement at a South American tournament close to her homeland.
