Juan Manuel Cerundolo vs Dhakshineswar Suresh prediction

Juan Manuel Cerundolo received a bye in the first-round as the eighth seed. His fine season continued in Cincinnati, as he advanced to the third-round of a Masters 1000 event for the first time in 2026. He beat Arthur Rinderknech in round two, before falling to a defeat against Felix Auger-Aliassime. Cerundolo achieved a career best ranking of 42 in June this year, while he also progressed to the round-of-16 at Roland Garros. That included a memorable comeback win over world number one Jannik Sinner.

He will face Dhakshineswar Suresh. The Indian earned his first ATP Tour main draw win after beating Marco Giron in his opening round match. Suresh, who only entered the tournament as a lucky loser, was not broken on serve and won 90% of his first serve points as he wrapped up a 6-3 7-5 victory after an hour and seven minutes.

Suresh will take plenty of confidence from how he performed, but Cerundolo remains the favourite to win this one.
