Josh Rock has recovered well from a sobering first campaign in the Premier League, having consistently reached the latter stages of the big events on the circuit.
The Northern Irishman was a quarter-finalist at both the World Matchplay and World Series of Darts Finals, and now enters the World Grand Prix for the fourth time in his career.
Making his debut at this tournament, Niels Zonneveld is slowly ticking off the majors having also opened his World Matchplay account this year. The Dutchman is a solid performer but rarely hits the heights that Rock is capable of.
Rock's on-stage confidence should be fairly strong given his TV performance of late, so he seems the natural pick in this one.
