JORDAN THOMPSON VS UGO HUMBERT PREDICTION
Jordan Thompson edged past French veteran Adrian Mannarino 7-5 7-6 both players will not be completely happy with their performance levels. Thompson did enough however and he moves into the quarter finals to face 15th seed Ugo Humbert.
Humbert Produced an outstanding performance especially in the third and deciding set to beat Carlos Alcaraz in a thriller on Centre Court. Similar to Thompson’s match, the quality ranged wildly from poor to exceptional but Humbert’s grit and heart at the key moments was there for all to see.
The pair have met once before and this came in the Cincinnati masters a couple of months ago and it was Thompson who won that match in three sets. We can fully imagine a similar kind of match here but we have to lean towards the home favourite in this one. Humbert will not have any problems motivating himself once again with the Parisian crowd firmly behind him and they can carry him into the semi=finals.
