Joao Fonseca vs Novak Djokovic prediction

Joao Fonseca staged a magnificent fightback in the second-round as he came from two sets down to beat Dino Prizmic. Fonseca looked out of sorts at the start of the match as Prizmic took control. However, the Croatian's level dropped in the middle of the match and the 19-year-old took advantage, winning 3-6 4-6 6-3 6-1 6-2.

He now faces 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic for the first time in his career. Djokovic needed four sets to get past Valentin Royer. The Serb dominated the first two sets, but was pegged back twice in the third after going a break up. Djokovic squandered a match point as Royer forced a fourth set, but he would go on to win 6-3 6-2 6-7 (7) 6-3 after three hours and 44 minutes.

Djokovic has not been entirely convincing across his first two matches, and he could be in trouble if Fonseca starts finding winners with his aggressive style. The Brazilian has enough firepower to take a set, but Djokovic should be able to adapt and gradually take control of the match.
