Jiri Lehecka vs Zizou Bergs prediction
Jiri Lehecka advanced to the next round of the Qatar Open after beating Jenson Brooksby in straight sets. The Czech won 6-3 6-3 after one hour and 22 minutes. Lehecka’s defence of his title in Brisbane ended early due to injury, and he lost in the first-round of the Australian Open. However, this was a much better showing, and he will be hoping for another deep run at this event, having made the final last year.
He now takes on Zizou Bergs. The Belgian won his first-round match against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in three sets. It was a strong serving display from Bergs, as he hammered down 17 aces and won 79% of his points on first serve as he sealed a 6-3 6-7 (5) 6-4 victory after two hours and 17 minutes.
Lehecka seems to be getting back to the level that he showed for large parts of last year, and he’ll be the favourite to defeat Bergs and advance to the quarter-finals.
