Jiri Lehecka vs Jack Draper Prediction

Jiri Lehecka is coming off one of the best results and performances of his career as he overcame top seed Carlos Alcaraz in a real high-quality three-set thriller. The match went back and forth throughout but Lehecka won out 6-3 3-6 6-4 and he will take plenty of confidence from that one.

He now meets Jack Draper who is coming off his own three-set battle with Matteo Berrettini – the man who eliminated Novak Djokovic in the earlier rounds. Draper lost the first set despite creating a number of break point opportunities, but he stuck to his principles, the chances kept coming and he took advantage of them to win 4-6 6-4 6-3.

The two 23-year-olds met twice last year and won one match apiece. Lehecka beat Draper in the final in Adelaide at the start of 2024 but Draper won in the ATP 1000 event in Paris.

Draper is the marginal favourite coming into this one and it is easy to see why. He is playing extremely well having not missed a step while resting his troublesome hip problem and he return game especially looks strong. Lehecka only won 38% on his second serve against Alcaraz and Draper will likely expose that second serve. He is our marginal preference in what should be a quality match.

Jiri Lehecka vs Jack Draper Tip: Jack Draper to win
