Jiri Lehecka vs Benjamin Bonzi prediction
Jiri Lehecka produced a dominant performance to beat Gilles Arnaud Bailly to get through to the quarter-finals of the European Open. The Czech was not broken on serve and only gave up one break point, while he produced a first serve percentage of 78% and thundered down 11 aces on his way to a 6-3 6-2 victory.
He will now go up against Benjamin Bonzi. The Frenchman outlasted compatriot Valentin Royer to make the last eight. Bonzi took the first set on a tiebreak, only for Royer to break in the middle of the second to force a decider. Bonzi made a strong start in the third set and ended up winning 7-6 4-6 6-1.
Lehecka leads the head-to-head 3-0 and 1-0 on hard court. They have already played each other twice this year in Melbourne and Stuttgart, with the world number 17 winning in straight sets on both occasions. He is a commanding favourite to do so again here.
Jiri Lehecka vs Benjamin Bonzi tip: Jiri Lehecka to win 2-0
