Jiri Lehecka vs Alexander Blockx prediction
Jiri Lehecka made light work of fellow countryman Vit Kopreva in round two, winning 6-4, 6-2 without losing a game on his serve. It was a professional performance and you still felt that Lehecka was capable of going up a gear if needed. Meanwhile, Alexander Blockx didn’t play at all as he progressed via a walkover. Whether this is a positive or not remains to be seen, with the Belgian no doubt in good condition physically but at risk of showing rust on the court.
Blockx hasn’t had the opportunity to get to grips with conditions, whilst Lehecka has now adapted and should come out of the blocks quickly. If the eighth seed gets ahead early on then it will be hard for Blockx to pull things back and the quality of Lehecka, especially when on serve should ultimately see him advance again.
