Jiri Lehecka began his Wimbledon campaign with a straight sets win over Alexei Popyrin. Lehecka was not broken on serve as he won 6-4 6-2 6-4 after just an hour and 42 minutes. His best result at Wimbledon was a round-of-16 appearance in 2023.
He will face Alex Molcan in the next round after he defeated Daniel Altmaier in four sets. This first-round match was completed over two days as play was suspended after the third set, with Molcan leading by two sets to one.
