Jill Teichmann has lost in the first round at Wimbledon on each of her last four appearances but this is an excellent opportunity for her to break that duck against an opponent who is lacking in confidence right now.
Lucia Bronzetti mustered just five games across the four sets she contested in Nottingham and Eastbourne, and generally looked bereft of belief on the surface. Indeed, she has won a match at tour level since the Italian Open in early May.
