Jessica Pegula faces Iva Jovic for a third time in 2026 in a blockbuster all-American showdown.
The fourth seed has won both of their previous meetings with a straight sets victory on the hard courts of Dubai and a three-set triumph on clay in Charleston.
Teenager Jovic will see that as progressive improvement and will be eager to avoid allowing Jpeg to complete the hat-trick on grass.
Both players have been excellent so far in the tournament with Pegula perhaps feeling she has the greater pedigree on the surface having reached a final in Berlin this year and winning the title in Bad Homburg 12 months ago.
That said, the fast-learning Jovic is very much on the rise with the 16th seed seeming to be on a collision course for the top ten.
