Jessica Pegula vs Amanda Anisimova prediction

Jessica Pegula overcame a mid-match wobble to reach her second semi final in Dubai. 

The American reset in the decider to clinch a 6-3 2-6 6-4 win over 12th seed Clara Tauson. 

The world number five will now face-off with her compatriot Amanda Anisimova for a place in the final.

The second seed ended the reign of 2025 champion Mirra Andreeva with an epic 2-6 7-5 7-6 victory. 

This will be a fifth meeting between two of the USA’s biggest stars with Pegula owning the official match-up 4-0.

Jpeg came out on top in a 6-2 7-6 win at this year’s Australian Open and will feel she has the blueprint to beat Amanda here. 

Anisimova will need to recover quickly after almost three hours on court in a brutal, tight clash against Andreeva and she will undoubtedly need her A-game to end her Pegula hoodoo. 

Anything less and it will be same old story and if she doesn't red-line,  then Jessica’s consistency will likely be key.
