The world number 86 romped to a 6-3 6-3 success over the third seed and will now lock horns with fellow American Taylor Fritz for a spot in the final.
Second seed, Fritz came through another all-American clash with Sebastian Korda by posting a 6-3 6-7 6-3 win.
This will be their fourth meeting with Fritz leading the head-to-head 2-1, with both wins coming in 2025.
Ranking is unlikely to be key here with USA bragging rights and recent form more pertinent.
Fritz hasn’t dropped a set in their two meetings this year and although Brooksby is playing some top tennis right now, you sense the world number five will have the tools and game-plan to get over the line just like he did against Korda.
