Jasmine Paolini vs Robin Montgomery prediction

Jasmine Paolini will try to kickstart a difficult 2026 at Wimbledon.

The 2024 finalist has had an inconsistent season and crashed out at the first hurdle in her only previous match on grass as the top seed in Eastbourne.

As the 13th seed in SW19 she will hope to avoid a similar upset against world number 194 Robin Montgomery-  but she may face deja vu.

The 21-year-old Montgomery will pose a huge threat after winning the s’Hertogenbosch title as a qualifier and roaring through to the main draw here.

Paolini is struggling for consistency and with the American riding a wave of momentum at present, we feel this is an excellent shout for a shock.
