Jasmine Paolini vs Marie Bouzkova prediction
Jasmine Paolini continued her fine run of form as she brushed aside Sofia Kenin in the third-round. The world number eight produced a first serve percentage of 80% as she comfortably beat the American 6-3 6-0 after just an hour and six minutes. Paolini did not lose any of her singles matches in the Billie Jean King Cup Finals prior to this event and has now won five matches in a row.
Marie Bouzkova will be her opponent in the round-of-16. The Czech defeated Veronika Kudermetova in straight sets to book a meeting with Paolini. She was a break down at the start of both sets but continued to create opportunities on Kudermetoa’s serve as she won 6-3 7-5.
Bouzkova is a strong player on hard courts, as shown by her 18-8 win-loss record and a title in Prague earlier this season, but Paolini is performing brilliantly right now and will start as a clear favourite to advance.
