Jasmine Paolini vs Daria Snigur prediction

Jasmine Paolini made her return from injury at the US Open, winning two matches in a row before a straight sets loss to Sorana Cirstea. She then competed for Italy at the Billie Jean King Cup; Paolini defeated Qinwen Zheng in her first singles match but then lost to Elina Svitolina as the Italians were knocked out by Ukraine. Paolini got through to the quarter-finals of this event last year, losing to Amanda Anisimova. 

She received a bye in round one and now faces Daria Snigur. The Ukrainian came from a set down to beat Katarzyna Kawa in the previous stage of the event. Snigur produced a first serve percentage of 88% but was still broken on six occasions, though she dug deep at the end of the decider to win 3-6 6-4 7-5. 

Paolini has managed to pick up a few wins since returning to action, and she will be expected to come through this encounter against Snigur.
