She now faces Katie Boulter for a place in the quarter-finals. The Briton pulled off a fine comeback to defeat eighth seed Leylah Fernandez in round one. Boulter leads 2-1 in the head-to-head, but this is their first match against each other on grass. Boulter overcame Cristian two months ago in Rouen. The 29-year-old will have home support on her side once again, and her aggressive game could put the Romanian under pressure at times.
