Jannik Sinner recovered from a second-set blip to reach his 13th hardcourt quarter-final in a row at the expense of Terence Atmane.

The Italian raced clear in the decider to beat the French underdog 6-4 5-7 6-0. 

The top seed will now take on Fabian Marozsan for the second time after the Hungarian posted a 6-3 7-6 win over Alexandre Muller. 

Sinner won their first encounter 6-4 6-7 6-3 in Halle last year and knows the world number 57 relishes taking on the sport’s major names. 

Marozsan will take heart from Atmane’s performance against the Italian, but it’s unlikely to lead to a shock win here.
