Jannik Sinner vs Daniil Medvedev Prediction

Jannik Sinner has not mathematically qualified for the semi-finals yet despite consecutive wins to start the 2024 ATP finals. Sinner has been playing some exceptional tennis on home soil and the world one will not take anything for granted.

There is a chance that Sinner will know his fate prior to starting this match depending on what happens in the afternoon game so that there will be no pressure on him coming into this one. Is that result goes against Sinner, all he needs to do in this match is to win one set.

He is more than capable of doing that's against Daniil Medvedev. The Russian is coming off an emphatic victory against Alex de Minaur 6-2 6-4 and that will have done wonders for his confidence.

What will not do wonders for his confidence is his recent record against Sinner. They may be tied on seven wins apiece across their 14 matches but Sinner has won seven of the last eight meetings, including four of their five this year.

Unless Sinner eases off the gas which is quite possible and we saw happen in the WTA Tour finals last week with the likes of Sabalenka and Gauff losing their third match, he has to be favoured to beat Medvedev once again.

Jannik Sinner vs Daniil Medvedev Tip: Jannik Sinner to win 2-0
