Jan-Lennard Struff vs Tallon Griekspoor Prediction
Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff has tried to get a little momentum in recent weeks by staying active and he managed a couple of wins in Marseille last week before being knocked out by Daniil Medvedev in the quarters. Those were his second and third wins of the year but they have come against low-ranked opponents so it is still difficult to have much confidence in him when he comes up against top 50 players.
He takes on Tallon Griekspoor who is equally trying to get some momentum going in 2025. He was involved in two three-set thrillers in Marseille; one where he edged past Matteo Berrettini and the second where he was narrowly beaten by Stefanos Tsitsipas.
He comes into this match knowing he has beaten Struff in both previous meetings. The two matches both went to a deciding set in five at the US Open back in 2021 and in three in the Davis Cup Finals at the end of last year. Both matches have shown they are pretty evenly-matched even if Griekspoor has just edged both. We like the Dutchman here and it is also worth considering game betting also.
