Jan-Lennard Struff posted just his second win in 14 matches when he took down Matteo Arnaldi in the first round.

The veteran German delighted the home crowd with a 6-4 6-4 win over the Italian, but knows it will be a tall order against Jiri Lehecka.

The eighth seed edged Benjamin Bonzi 6-4 6-4, lashing down 13 aces and winning 89 percent of points on his first serve. 

If the Czech repeats those sort of serving stats, he’s likely to have too much for Struff, who actually won 90 percent of first serve points against Arnaldi, but perhaps doesn’t offer the same threat on the return. 

With such serving proficiency a punt on the match including a tie-break may be worth looking at, but in terms of the winner we think Lehecka’s greater confidence at present will see him have the edge on the big points.
