Jan-Lennard Struff vs Gael Monfils Prediction

Jan-Lennard Struff comes into Indian Wells in difficult form as he played at both Doha and Dubai and was eliminated in the first round of both tournaments. The German veteran is always competitive but results have not been going his way so far in 2025.

He has a tough opening match against Gael Monfils in the first round at Indian Wells and he has never beaten him in their three previous meetings. Dating back to 2014 when they first met at Roland Garros, Struff has always found it tough against Monfils and that was the case in Auckland earlier this year when the Frenchman beat him once again.

Monfils is enjoying a strong 2025 and is looking after his body well rather than playing in too many tournaments. He will enjoy being back at Indian Wells where he has made the fourth round in three of the last four years.
