Jan-Lennard Struff vs Filip Misolic prediction

Jan-Lennard Struff has struggled for much of the season and he has not enjoyed an upturn in fortunes on grass. He did get off to an encouraging start with a win in the first-round of the Stuttgart Open but he then lost to Queen’s Club finalist Jiri Lehecka in the next round. He was then comfortably defeated by Lorenzo Sonego in the first-round of Halle. The German’s current win-loss record in 2025 stands at 5-17.

In contrast, Filip Misolic is in very strong form. He enjoyed an encouraging run at Roland Garros, as he advanced through qualifying to make the third-round, losing to Novak Djokovic. He then continued to compete on the clay as he won a Challenger event in Poznan. He transitioned to the grass by winning all three of his rounds in qualifying. Misolic is currently on an eight-match winning streak and is playing with confidence.

Struff does have a decent record at the All England Club, with three third-round appearances including last year, but he’s been poor all season and may find it difficult against an in-form Misolic. We’re backing the Austrian number one on this occasion.
