Jakub Mensik vs Adrian Mannarino prediction

Jakub Mensik broke new ground at Roland Garros last time out as he reached his first Grand Slam semi-final. The 20-year-old overcame Mariano Navone and Andrey Rublev in five set epics, before producing a brilliant display in the quarter-finals to defeat fellow youngster Joao Fonseca. Mensik was competitive against Alexander Zverev but ultimately fell to a four set defeat.

He will begin his grass court season against Adrian Mannarino at Queen’s Club. Mannarino ended a losing run last week as he excelled at the Libema Open, winning three matches on the bounce to advance to his second semi-final of the campaign. However, he was largely uncompetitive against Alex de Minaur, losing 6-4 6-0.

Mannarino can easily disrupt his opponent’s rhythm on grass with his flat ball striking, and this is not the easiest opening match for Mensik. He will win a ton of free points on his own serve, but Mannarino should be able to make this competitive.
