Jaime Faria vs Adam Walton prediction
Portuguese star Jaime Faria is enjoying a strong week in Cincinnati already having come through two rounds of qualifiers and two rounds in the main draw.
He has won all four matches in straight sets so far and he hit the headlines last time out as he stunned 8th-seed Ben Shelton 6-4 6-4. The American was coming off his Canadian Open triumph so can be forgiven for that, but Faria still had to produce the goods and he continued his fine form.
He now takes on Australia’s Adam Walton who will be confident in his own play after successive wins over Nicolas Mejia and then Ignacio Buse.
Both wins came in straight sets and Walton was nailing his first serve against Buse especially winning 92% on it.
This will be a tough assignment for him however against the in-form Faria. The pair have never met before so there is no head-to-head to give us any pointers, but we love the momentum that Faria possesses right now and we think he keeps this run going.
