Jacob Fearnley vs Alex Bolt prediction
Jacob Fearnley did not get his grass court season off to a winning start as he lost three set match with Brandon Nakashima in the first-round. The Brit produced a solid performance for the most part, but his serve deserted him at the beginning of the deciding set and he faded away. He makes his debut at Queen’s Club against Alex Bolt.
Bolt won both of his qualifying matches to reach the main draw. He defeated Great Britain’s Jay Clarke and then battled back from a set down to defeat compatriot Christopher O’Connell. He began his grass court season with an encouraging run from the qualifiers to the quarter-final of the Birmingham Classic.
Bolt is clearly an able player on the grass, having won three titles on the surface in his career. While we expect Fearnley to come through in straight sets, he will certainly have to work for his win against the Australian.
