Jack Draper vs Sebastian Baez prediction

Jack Draper has never got past the second-round of Wimbledon but he arrives at the All England Club as one of the contenders for the title. He has enjoyed a rise ever since his loss to Cameron Norrie a year ago, as he made the semi-finals of the US Open a few months later and then picked up his first ATP Masters title in 2025 at Indian Wells. He competed in one warmup event before the slam, making the semi-finals of Queen’s Club but being on the end of a tight three set match against Jiri Lehecka.

Sebastian Baez did not play a grass court event leading up to Wimbledon and has not featured on the tour since his agonising first-round loss at Roland Garros to Miomir Kecmanovic. The Argentine was two sets to love up but ended up losing to the Serb. Baez is currently on a six-match losing streak and his form has plummeted ever since a final appearance at the Bucharest Open in the beginning of April.

Draper has won both of their previous meetings without the drop of a set and that should continue here against an out-of-form Baez who will be struggling for match sharpness and has never looked comfortable on grass.
