Jack Draper & Jessica Pegula vs Iga Swiatek & Casper Ruud prediction

Jessica Pegula has played a huge role in the success that both she and Jack Draper have enjoyed so far in this tournament. The American star is still an excellent doubles player despite singles competition having been her main focus for a long time now. Her experience is no doubt having a positive effect on Draper, who is getting into good position close to the net and utilising his power well. A 4-1, 4-1 thrashing of Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev last time out is testament to their quality as a team.

Iga Swiatek and Casper Ruud have also been one of the most notable pairings so far when taking into account the results we’ve seen from them. Both their last two matches ended in 4-1, 4-2 victories, a really impressive achievement particularly when considering the lack of rest Swiatek has had following her singles win at the Cincinnati Open as recently as Monday, something Ruud made sure to acknowledge post-match on Tuesday.

But Draper and Pegula provide them with their most challenging assignment yet. Both pairs have dropped just six games across the competition so far but Draper and Pegula look to be getting better and better the longer they spend on court. In what should be a fun contest, back the British/American trio to get through to the final.
