Iva Jovic vs Xinyu Wang prediction

Iva Jovic impressed at Queen’s Club as she defeated the likes of Alexandra Eala and Amanda Anisimova to reach the semi-finals. However, she was outclassed by an inspired Emma Raducanu in their last four match, which scuppered her hopes of reaching a second final of the campaign. Jovic will hope for a strong campaign at Bad Homburg ahead of Wimbledon.

She faces Xinyu Wang in the first-round. The Chinese player did compete at the German Open but lost in the first-round after a straight sets defeat to 2025 Australian Open champion Madison Keys. Wang began the season strongly, with a round-of-16 appearance at the Australian Open and a run to the final in Auckland, but she has failed to reach the quarter-finals of an event since February.

Jovic still has a very fine record on grass at this early stage of her career, and she will be expected to come through this match comfortably.
