THE PREDICTION
Switzerland made a stunning response to their hammering against
Sweden as they thrashed Slovakia last time out to make it three wins
from four. Following the 7-0 reverse to the Swedes, Switzerland won by
the same margin as they ran out 8-1 victors against Slovakia but they
will need to maintain that level of performance if they are to take
anything from this clash with Russia. Also coming into this with three
victories from four, the Russians produced a solid display to earn a
shutout over Denmark in their latest contest. Both teams will believe
they can prevail here and while the Swiss will be confident after such
an impressive display, Russia have to be favoured here.
