THE PREDICTION
Russia have secured safe passage to the quarter-finals but they will
want to progress to the knockout stage by finishing at the top of Group
A. They take on bottom side Belarus who have managed just a solitary
success so far and while they will want to end on a high, it will be a
hugely difficult task for them. They were thrashed 6-0 by Switzerland in
their most recent contest and with the Russians winning their last
three, it would be a surprise if Belarus were not on the end of another
one-sided loss of at least two clear goals.
