THE PREDICTION
Italy’s poor start to the IIHF World Championship continued as they
suffered a third consecutive loss with Latvia the latest side to get the
better of them. They have now conceded 16 goals in three games
following that 3-0 shutout and things do not get any easier for them
here as they take on Finland. After their shock shootout loss to
Kazakhstan, the Finns responded by making it two wins from three with a
routine win over Norway and having scored five in that contest coupled
with Italy’s defensive woes, this should be another straightforward
success for Finland who should win by at least five clear goals.
