The Vancouver Canucks took the honours in game one as their strong third-period showing saw them break a 2-2 deadlock with three goals to nudge ahead in the series. There was little to divide the teams however on the whole though the Blues will have to be more disciplined to avoid penalties if they are to bounce back here. The Canucks have good momentum right now having won their last four games going back to their qualifying series against Minnesota Wild but expect an improvement from the Blues here who can level this series.
