Leigh Leopards team news: Short on numbers

Leigh Leopards are depleted when it comes to squad numbers and Jack Hughes being banned for this game does not help matters. Josh Charnley is doubtful with an injury sustained last week.

Squad: David Armstrong, Tesi Niu, Umyla Hanley, Josh Charnley, Adam Cook, Lachlan Lam, Joe Ofahengaue, Edwin Ipape, Robbie Mulhern, Frankie Halton, Isaac Liu, Aaron Pene, Jacob Alick-Wiencke, Matt Davis, Liam Horne, Bailey Hodgson, Innes Senior, Gareth O’Brien, Louis Brogan, Ryan Brown

Hull KR vs Leigh Leopards prediction

Hull KR got back to winning ways with a 38-6 beating of York Knights, gaining revenge for their defeat to the same opponent on opening night. Now the Super League champions are out to close the gap on the top two with another positive result here. But they are running into a red-hot Leigh Leopard, with Adrian Lam’s side having won their last three with 104 points scored in the process.

Leigh may well choose to counter fire with fire and trade blows offensively with Hull KR. That could lead to a high scoring game between the pair despite both having defended well of late. The attackers on show are of an extremely high standard and could dominate the respective backlines. However, with home advantage in their favour, Hull KR have to be favoured.
