Huddersfield Giants vs Leeds Rhinos prediction

A month or so ago, this match would’ve been seen as a slam dunk for Leeds Rhinos. Especially when considering their red-hot start to the season, combined with the disastrous Huddersfield Giants run of results which saw boss Luke Robinson dismissed. But since his departure, the Giants have won two on the spin, including a stunning triumph away at Wigan Warriors and look an entirely different team.

Leeds Rhinos may have won their last two but they are set to be tested against an offensive which has reeled off consecutive 34-point-games. Key to Huddersfield’s recent attacking success has been the form of Jacob Gagai. The utility back followed up his try vs Wigan with a brace of tries against York Knights and in his second Super League season, only looks to be getting better. With that in mind, it’s worth backing him to maintain his run of try-scoring.

Huddersfield Giants vs Leeds Rhinos tip: Jacob Gagai to score a try anytime
