Although Hull FC deserve credit for the fight shown against inter-city rivals Hull KR in their last match, a contest in which they were heavy underdogs, the outcome was a sixth consecutive defeat, which leaves them now just four points above bottom of the table Huddersfield Giants, who picked up only their third Super League win of the season last Saturday away at York Knights.
