THE LOWDOWN

Willie Mullins has dominated this race with the likes of Quevega and Benie Des Dieux among his previous winners but having failed to come out on top of the last two, he will be hoping to return to winning ways in 2021. Concertista was a Festival winner last year having won the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle and she has built on that with successive wins since. Roksana has also impressed since last year’s fourth place in this race having finished in the frame in her last three races, two of which ended in victory. The most recent of those came over a longer trip so she will comfortably get the distance but needs to find more speed earlier in the race here.

THE PREDICTION

Roksana is an interesting proposition here having finished fourth in this race last year but she appears to be suited to a longer trip so Concertista is the fancy. Willie Mullins is no stranger to winning this race with nine wins from the last 12 and he can add to that record. Concertista has won her last three races and having recorded a success in last year’s Festival, she can get her nose in front once again to make it four straight wins.
