Harriet Dart vs Qu Yihan prediction

Harriet Dart has moved up to 116 in the world rankings. Her strongest singles results have largely come below WTA Tour level, finishing runner-up at lower-level events in Fujairah and Porto, while she also reached the Vancouver WTA 125 quarter-finals. More recently, Dart qualified for the US Open and then beat Peyton Stearns in round one, before a loss to Marie Bouzkova. She earned a place in the main draw of this WTA 1000 event after winning both of her qualifying matches against Tiphanie Lemaitre and Yexin Ma, with the Brit now having won six of her last seven matches overall.

She faces Qu Yihan. The 17-year-old received a wildcard for this tournament. Most of her season has been spent on the junior circuit, with the Chinese player having reached the Wimbledon girls’ quarter-finals during the summer. She produced her best result of the season earlier this month, winning a junior event in Beijing.
