Hamad Medjedovic vs Felix Auger-Aliassime prediction
Despite only entering the draw as a lucky loser, Hamad Medjedovic made it through to the round-of-16 after a win over Zizou Bergs. Medjedovic was behind at the start of the first set but staged a magnificent recovery from 5-2 down, saving a set point in the process as he broke on two occasions and forced a tiebreak. The Serb held his nerve to take the lead. He was broken when serving for the match at 6-5 but came out on top in another breaker to win 7-6 (5) 7-6 (5).
He now faces second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime. The 2022 champion got his campaign in Rotterdam up and running with a straight sets win over Alexei Popyrin. Auger-Aliassime was always in control as he wrapped up a 7-5 6-3 win. The Canadian retained his title at the Open Occitanie last week and has not dropped his serve in his last four matches.
Auger-Aliassime is finding form indoors yet again and will be the hot favourite to come through with another win here.
