Carlos Alcaraz came through another ‘rollercoaster’ with Damir Dzumhur to maintain his push for an eighth Masters 1000 crown.

The 22-year-old world number 72 thundered down 14 aces and zapped 33 winners on his way to taking down the Dutchman and he will need more of the same to stand any chance against Alcaraz.

The Serb’s power may frustrate and cause more issues for the Spaniard, but the second seed often comes up clutch when it matters most and he will surely have the answers again here as he bids to produce a more consistent performance.
