TSZ TIPS

JORDAN SPIETH

  • Jordan Spieth has had to wait a long time to earn another major but his form over the past year suggests that he could be in contention to complete a career grand slam at this weekend’s PGA Championship.
  • Spieth finished second in this event in 2015 which is his best finish to date while his 2017 success at the Open means this is the only major eluding the American but having backed up his win at the RBC Heritage by finishing second in last week’s AT&T Byron Nelson, that form is difficult to ignore.

TIP: Winner e/w (20/1)

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA

  • Hideki Matsuyama was a strong finisher at the AT&T Byron Nelson last week and he will be full of confidence on the back of that effort in what was his first appearance on the PGA Tour since the Masters.
  • Matsuyama appears to have put his injury issues behind him, something that impacted him at the Augusta despite still managing to finish in a tie for 14th and a fourth Tour win in just over a year would not be a shock.

TIP: Winner e/w (30/1)
