RORY MCILROY
- It has been far from a vintage season for Rory McIlroy but there are signs that he is playing some of his best golf at the moment and after a T4 at the Olympics and a T12 at the St Jude Invitational, McIlroy is primed to go well here.
- In the St Jude two weeks ago, McIlroy hit -12 in his final 54 holes and all the fundamentals in his game were looking strong so expect the Northern Irishman to continue that fine form and challenge for the win on Sunday afternoon.

ADAM SCOTT
- Adam Scott showed some impressive form at the Wyndham last weekend as he finished in second place but he will be delighted with the way he played and will be looking to build on that at a course he likes.
- The Australian won at the Liberty back in 2013 so he has strong form at this venue and with his game in great shape last weekend, Scott will be confident he can go far this weekend and seal a top ten finish as a minimum.

WEBB SIMPSON
- After some shaky performances over the course of the summer which saw him miss the cut at the US Open and the Rocket Mortgage Classic, Webb Simpson has come back strong in recent weeks with T19, T15 and T7 over the last few weeks.
- Simpson has three top-20 finishes at this course on his three visits to the Liberty and with Ryder Cup wildcard places up for grabs, Simpson will be motivated to put in a good showing here and pick up at least a top 20 finish at least.
