Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard vs Vitaliy Sachko prediction

Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard’s indoor swing began promisingly as he got through to the semi-finals of the European Open after beating top seed Lorenzo Musetti in the last eight. However, he would go on to lose to Jiri Lehecka and that would spark a three match losing run for the Frenchman as he failed to defend his title in Basel, losing in round one to Joao Fonseca and then suffered a similarly early exit at the Paris Masters against the returning Grigor Dimitrov.

Vitaliy Sachko is his opponent. He comes into the event as a lucky loser, having lost to Clement Tabur in the second stage of qualifying after beating Alexander Shevchenko. The Ukrainian is currently ranked 220 in the world and has reached two Challenger finals in Barletta and Monza respectively this season.

Mpetshi Perricard’s serve always gives him an advantage indoors, especially when up against lower-ranked opponents. This should be a comfortable win for the Frenchman, but he needs to improve his level during the return games if he is to win convincingly.
