Although he hasn't won a Premier League night yet, Gian van Veen finds himself in second place on his debut year in the competition (ahead of the night's action), having finished as runner-up on three occasions.
That includes last week in Belfast, and although he will feel some frustration at having failed to go all the way once more, he is ultimately rising to the challenge that is the Premier League roadshow.
