Very much in the top-four reckoning at this early stage of the competition, Gerwyn Price defeated Stephen Bunting at the quarter-final stage in Cardiff last week, before running into a 111 average from Luke Littler in the last four.

The Iceman also reached the semi-finals of the UK Open just a few days ago, where he lost 10-8 to James Wade.

Littler, meanwhile, went all the way in Minehead to claim back-to-back UK Open titles, and also burst into life in the Premier League last week.

Having previously failed to win a match in this year's tournament, the world champion defeated Josh Rock, Price and Jonny Clayton to claim the nightly spoils in Cardiff, and few would back against him repeating that feat in Nottingham.

Having performed so well against Price last week, there is little reason to think that the youngster won't show his class again.
