Lys has struggled with form and fitness this year, and she is still yet to win back-to-back matches on the tour in 2026. Her ranking has now slipped to 98 in the world, and she is in danger of moving outside the world’s top 100.

Knutson has momentum on her side after those qualifying wins, and the pressure will be on Lys as the favourite. This could head all the way to deciding set.
