Gabriel Diallo vs Aleksandar Vukic prediction

Gabriel Diallo will aim to make his first significant impression on grass in the weeks ahead with a place in the top 50 in his sights. 

The towering Canadian has all the attributes to be a success on the surface with his powerhouse serve and intimidating size to dwarf the court at the net, but the 23-year-old is yet to pick up a top tier win on it. 

That could make his first assignment this year rather tricky given that Aleksandar Vukic has decent pedigree on the turf.

The Aussie reached the quarter-finals here and Newport last year as well as making a surge to the semi-finals at Eastbourne.

That said, Vukic has had a pretty miserable season so far and did lose at the first hurdle in a Birmingham Challenger last week. 

Diallo is a heavy favourite with the Bookies so the fact Vukic has already got a match on grass under his belt and solid experience at the tournament means he could be worth an outside bet to win or to take it the distance.
